Successful Events @EOIreland

We would like to thank everyone who attended our recent events.  Both ‘Romancing the Customer’ with Don Williams (pictured speaking at the event) and ‘In the Boardroom’ with Michael McArdle from McArdle Skeath were very well received by members and guests.

Our next event ‘Dinner in Dublin’ is featured below.

‘Dinner in Dublin’  – October 24th

Siobhán Donnelly, EO Ireland’s Learning Chair, has organised ‘Dinner in Dublin’ at Bastible, 111 South Circular Road.  The restaurant won a Bib Gourmand from Michelin earlier this week.  A Bib Gourmand recognises establishments offering simple yet skilful cooking.

There are now only FOUR places remaining for this event.  Catherine Cleary from ‘The Irish Times’ said of Bastible: There’s a new level of cooking in town and it is truly exciting”.  Cuan Green, formely of Noma, joined the team as Head Chef earlier this year.

Members can book by emailing Louise.

EO Learning Platform Highlight: Stories from EO’s International Entrepreneurial Summit at the United Nations

On 25 and 26 June 2019, EO hosted the International Entrepreneurial Summit at the United Nations in New York City to address the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event created a platform to help shape the future of EO’s commitment to the UN as EO member leaders came together for a series of Think Tank breakout sessions, keynotes, and panel discussions. The meeting allowed EO members to discuss roles that businesses can play in achieving the SDGs, brainstormed tangible actions to tackle issues related to the key topics addressed, explored synergies across stakeholders, and educated entrepreneurs from around the world on how to engage with the SDGs in order to lead change.

>> Tune in and listen to their stories.
